It’s the Christmas present every Alien fan has been waiting for; with Ridley Scott returning to the Alien universe post-Prometheus, and bringing us more of a ‘straight’ Alien movie; you can find the first Alien: Covenant official trailer below.

Following a colony ship called the Covenant, which descends on a remote planet the crew initially believe to be an untouched paradise, the new Sci-fi horror will find the Covenant’s inhabitants meeting David (Michael Fasbender); the lone survivor of the Prometheus mission; before coming face-to-face with something much more terrifying.

Fassbender will also be picking up the part of another synthetic life form named Walter, and starring alongside Covenant crew members Katherine Waterston (Inherent Vice), Demián Bichir (The Hateful Eight), Carmen Ejogo (Selma), Callie Hernandez (La La Land), Billy Crudup (Almost Famous), Amy Seimetz (You’re Next), and Danny McBride (Your Highness).

Noomi Rapace will also be reprising her role as Dr. Elizabeth Shaw from Prometheus, and both Guy Pearce and James Franco are also expected to star, when Alien: Covenant is released next May.
