Rapper, actor, poet, political activist, and musical legend Tupac Shakur is not just the face behind the conspiracy theory or the hit songs, and upcoming biopic All Eyez On Me aims to tell Tupac’s true and untold story in a way we’ve never seen before; as seen in the newly released clip from the film below, itself followed by the All Eyez On Me official trailer.

Written by Jeremy Haft & Ed Gonzalez and Steve Bagatourian, and directed by Benny Boom (Next Day Air), All Eyez On Me follows Tupac from his early days in New York City through his rise to become one of the world’s most recognised and influential voices, before his untimely death at the age of 25.

Starring newcomer Demetrius Shipp Jr. as Tupac, alongside Walking Dead stars Danai Gurira and Lauren Cohan, Kat Graham (The Vampire Diaries), Jamal Woolard (Notorious), and Dominic L. Santana (Dead Heist), All Eyez On Me is due to be released on June 30th in the U.K., following a June 16th release in the U.S.
