Ant-Man And The Wasp joined by Walton Goggins

A veteran of both the small and big screen, having starred in The Shield, Vice Principals (which returns to HBO in the fall), Lincoln and The Hateful Eight, Walton Goggins next project will see him appearing in the MCU for the first time; having just signed on to appear in Ant-Man And The Wasp.

The sequel to 2015’s Ant-Man is once again due to be directed by Peyton Reed, will see Paul Rudd return as thief-turned-super-hero Scott Lang (last seen in Captain America: Civil War), and place returning co-star Evangeline Lilly in her own super-suit as The Wasp. So far there are no details as to what Goggins’ role will be, though with San Diego Comic-Con taking place this weekend we may get some more information fairly soon.

Filming is due to begin in Atlanta fairly soon, with cast members Michael Douglas, Michael Pena, and T.I. all set to return ahead of a UK release date scheduled for 29 June next year. Ant-Man And The Wasp will be released in the U.S. on 6 July 2018, but anyone looking to see more of Goggins beforehand can do by catching Vice Principals this fall, The Maze Runner: The Death Cure (next February), or the Tomb Raider reboot in March.
