Arthur: Trailer, and First Poster

Being remade from the 1981 classic of the same name (starring Dudley Moore), Arthur follows an eccentric billionaire named Arthur Bach, as his arranged marriage draws ever closer, and in order to stay with his true love he’s forced to risk his entire fortune; something he’s never been without.

Russell Brand (Forgetting Sarah marshall) stars as the titular billionaire; a man who’s not only never been without money, but continues to rely on his nanny Hobson (Helen Mirren, The Queen) for just about everything; and is joined  by Greta Gerwig (No Strings Attached); as Linda, the love of his life; and Jennifer Garner (The Invention of Lying); as Susan, the woman he’s supposed to marry (and must do so if he wishes to keep his fortune), yet has no attraction to whatsoever.

48 Hrs’ Nick Nolte and Luis Guzman (The Taking of Pelham 123, 2009) will also be appearing (as Susan’s father/Arthur’s potential father-in-law, and Arthur’s driver/comedy-sidekick Bitterman respectively) in the Jason Winer (Modern Family) directed romantic-comedy that’s due for release on April 8th in the U.S., and April 22nd in the U.K.
