Even before Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was released in cinemas we knew there was going to be a lengthier, harder, cut of the film released on DVD and Blu-ray. Now we not only have an official release date for said release, but official artwork (on the right – click to view full size), and a US trailer (below).
The new release will feature an additional 30 minutes of footage not seen in the theatrical release, as well as a Dolby Atmos® soundtrack (remixed specifically for the home environment) and special features which include the following (on the Ultra HD Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, and Blu-ray releases):

- The Warrior, The Myth, The Wonder
- Accelerating Design: The New Batmobile
- Superman: Complexity & Truth

- The Might and the Power of a Punch
- The Empire of Luthor
- Save the Bats
Download Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition from July 18th. Available on Ultra HD Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD, from August 1st.
US readers can own it on Digital HD 6/28 and Blu-Ray™ 7/19.
