Following on from Tuesday’s teaser, we now have the official main trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice available to view below.
Ben Affleck (Argo) and Henry Cavill (reprising his Man of Steel role) star as Batman and Superman respectively, in the Zack Snyder (Man of Steel) directed film which sees the two superheroes clashing over competing ideologies, before they’re eventually forced to work together to combat something far more deadly; a possible world-destroying evil unleashed by Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg, Now You See Me).
The new trailer also give us the first real look at Gal Gadot (Furious 7) as Wonder Woman, glimpses of Jeremy Irons’ (The Borgias) Alfred, and suggests a slightly lighter tone than some of the previous trailers have done.
With Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones) set to also appear as Aquaman, and rumours of Ezra Miller turning up as The Flash, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will be the first DC superhero crossover movie along the road to a full Justice League film, and is due to be released on March 25th.
