Quickly growing an impressive reputation for making quality TV series, Netflix is also stepping into the motion picture game; recently acquiring the Idris Elba starrer Beasts Of No Nation, the official teaser trailer for which can now be seen below.
Elba (Pacific Rim) stars as an African warlord who mentors a young man (Abraham Attah) after he’s taken from his home and forced to become a child soldier, in this adaptation of Uzodinma Iweala’s novel which was written and directed by Cary Fukunaga (True Detective).
Beasts Of No Nation is heading to both the Toronto and Venice film festivals, and is set to begin streaming on Netflix (in a number of territories, including the UK) on October 16th.
