Whiplash‘s Miles Teller headlines the official trailer for Bleed For This; the biopic of real-life boxer Vinny Pazienza a.k.a. The Pazmanian Devil; available to view below.
Focussing on a serious car crash which, in 1991, left Paz with a broken neck, and the possibility of paralysis; forcing Paz to relinquish his championship claims, and wear a metal halo (a head/neck brace screwed to the skull); the film will chart Paz’s refusal to obey his doctors, the rigorous training he continued to pursue even while injured, and his eventual comeback attempt.
Co-starring Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight), Cirian Hinds (Game Of Thrones), Katey Sagal (Sons of Anarchy), Ted Levine (The Silence Of The Lambs), Bleed For This is due to receive a limited release in the US on November 4th, before opening wider on November 23rd, but is yet to secure an official UK release date.
