Acclaimed director Steven Spielberg has re-teamed with Tom Hanks (after working together on both Saving Private Ryan, and The Terminal) to bring us the upcoming Cold War thriller Bridge Of Spies, and you can now see the first official Bridge Of Spies poster on the right (click to view full size), and watch the Bridge Of Spies trailer below.
Hanks will star as lawyer James Donovan, who was thrust into the centre of the Cold War when he was forced to negotiate the release of Gary Powers; a U-2 spy plane pilot who was shot down over soviet Russia.
Co-starring Amy Ryan (Birdman), Alan Alda (The Blacklist), Austin Stowell (Whiplash), and Mark Rylance (The Other Boleyn Girl), Bridge Of Spies (which takes its name from the Glienicke Bridge in Germany – a notorious prisoner exchange site for Western and Soviet forces) will be scored by Thomas Newman, and released on October 16th in the US, before making its official UK release date on November 27th.
