Still officially untitled (but previously known as Headshot), the upcoming action film from director Walter Hill 48Hrs. has recently seen its castlist grow to not only include Expendables star Sylvester Stallone, Game of Thrones’ Jason Momoa, and Sung Kang (of the Fast and Furious movies), but also Christian Slater (Broken Arrow), Holt McCallanay (The Losers), and Adewale Akkinuoye (who’s best known for his TV roles in shows such as Lost, and Oz).

The film is currently filming under the title Bullet to the Head (which is taken from the French comic series upon which it’s based) and will see will see a cop (Kang) team up with a hitman (Stallone) to track down the perpetrator of a string of brutal murders, in an investigation that will take them from New Orleans (where Adewale’s character; the film’s big bad; is attempting to cover up his efforts to exploit the victims of Hurricane Katrina) to Washington, and also encounter the characters played by both Slater (a handler of some description) and Momoa (another villain).

Marking the first feature film to be directed by Walter Hill since 2002 (when he released the prison boxing movie Undisputed), Bullet to the Head is currently in production in Louisiana, and is scheduled to be released, on an as yet unconfirmed date, sometime next year.
