Cameron Diaz is a Bad Teacher

Continuing in the spirit of Bad Santa, Bad Teacher features Cameron Diaz (Knight and Day) as the titular teacher; who’s recently been dumped by her fiance, is snoozing through her job by barely teaching seventh-grade, and isn’t afraid of dropping a few comedically-timed F-bombs; as seen in the new red band trailer for the movie (which can be seen below).

Despite being generally bored, fed up, and coasting through life, Elizabeth (Diaz) soon perks up when she sets her sights on the attractive new substitute teacher Scott (Justin Timberlake, The Social Network); a young, attractive, and rich man who’s also just coming out of a relationship; the only problem being his attraction to her colleague Amy (Lucy Punch, Hot Fuzz), and Liz’s belief that her success depends on breast implants.

Written by Lee Eisenber and Gene Stupintsky (the guys behind the U.S. version of the Office, who have also been linked to a proposed Ghostbusters 3), the Jake Kasdan (Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story) film Bad Teacher is due to be released in both the U.S. and U.K. on June 24th.
