While most movies where the main character(s) end up getting superpowers simply involve them having a laugh, and learning to use their powers responsibly (before battling the movie’s big-bad) Chronicle shows what could happen if three hormone laden teenage lads really got their hands on some impressive powers.
Written by relative newcomer Max Landis, and directed by The Kill Point’s Josh Trank, Chronicle will follow the three young lads as their lives begin to spiral out of control, and they have to make the choice of whether or not to use their powers for good, or embrace their dark sides, when the film is released on February 3rd in the US, and makes its UK release date on March 2nd.
