After appearing in Batman Begins, and Inception, Cillian Murphy is now set to reunite with Christopher Nolan for the upcoming World War II film Dunkirk; telling the true tale of the Allied evacuation of France near the beginning of WWII (where 300,000 British and French soldiers were evacuated across the English Channel).

Tom Hardy (who also worked with both Murphy and Nolan on Inception) will also be appearing, alongside Mark Rylance (Bridge of Spies) and Kenneth Branagh (Valkyrie), in the Christopher Nolan scripted film which will be produced by Emma Thomas, filmed (at least partially) utilising 65mm IMAX photography, and released on July 21st 2017.
