Colin Farrell Joining Arthur and Lancelot

Coming from writer/director David Dobkin (The Change-Up) the latest take on the Arthurian legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, Arthur and Lancelot, looked to have had its production stalled back in December (over pesky budget issues) but may have found its saviour; as In Bruges star Colin Farrell is now linked to the picture.

As of yet there’s no word on who Farrell would play, and obviously the January start date has already come and gone, but he’ll be joining a cast which previously included the likes of Game of Thrones‘ Kit Harrington and The Killing‘s Joel Kinnaman in the lead roles, for the film which is set to follow the early years of Arthur and his loyal companion, and should enter production later in the year.
