Colin Farrell Turns Down Arthur and Lancelot

Despite news recently breaking that Colin Farrell (The Way Back) had entered talks to star in the latest adaptation of the Arthurian Legend; in the upcoming movie Arthur and Lancelot; the news has changed again, as Farrell has had to pass on the role due to some inconvenient scheduling issues.

Farrell’s passing leaves writer/director David Dobkin’s (Wedding Crashers) movie still very much in limbo-land, with no release date, no major stars attached, and no official start date; meaning, for now at least, the future of Arthur and Lancelot is still very uncertain (especially given Warner Bros.’ refusal to place lesser known stars in the leading roles).
