A re-imagining of the Icelandic movie Reykjavik-Rotterdam, Contraband stars Mark Wahlberg (The Fighter) as a former smuggler who’s forced back into the life when his family is threatened by a local gangster (Giovanni Ribisi, Avatar), and recently had its latest poster released online (now available to view below).
Kate Beckinsale (Underworld) and Ben Foster (The Mechanic) also star in the R-rated action/thriller (as Wahlberg’s wife and best mate respectively) which is due to be released on January 13th in the US, before making its UK release date over two months later; on March 16th.
