With Game of Thrones (and now The Hunger Games: Mockingjay) star Natalie Dormer already aboard the big screen global pandemic movie Patient Zero, another British household name has just been added to the fray; in the form of former Doctor Who star Matt Smith.
While it was previously surmised Natalie’s character would form the focus of the film, it appears as though Smith’s character could be the central survivor who proves to be immune to an unprecedented viral infection which essentially creates a new, violence-loving, species, and goes hunting for the titular Patient Zero in an attempt to save his infected wife, and everyone else on Earth, in the Stefan Ruzowitzky (Deadfall) directed movie which is yet to announce an official release date.
