Coming from director Fede Alvarez (the Evil Dead remake), the upcoming home invasion thriller Don’t Breathe looks shocking, brutal, and undeniably tense; as you’ll see by watching the Don’t Breathe official trailer below.
Jane Levy (Evil Dead), Daniel Zovatto (It Follows), and Dylan Minnette (Goosebumps) star as three youngsters who decide the best way to make a quick buck is to break into the local blind guy’s house and steal his dosh; a plan which goes hideously wrong when said blind man quickly kills one of them, blocks all exits, and proceeds to try and hunt the other two down.
Scripted by Alvarez and his regular screenwriting cohort Rodo Sayagues, Don’t Breathe places Avatar‘s Stephen Lang in the role of the vicious and uncompromising blind man, and is due to be released on August 26th in the US, before making its official UK release date on September 9th.
