Adapted from John Wagner’s classic, and much loved, 2000AD comic books, Dredd has been directed by Vantage Point’s Pete Travis, scripted by Sunshine’s Alex Garland, and has just had its first poster released online (now available to view below).

Starring Karl Urban (Star Trek) in the role once occupied by Sylvester Stallone, and Game of Thrones’ Lena Headey as crime lord Madeline ‘Ma-Ma’ Madrigal, alongside Olivia Thrilby (Juno), and Domhnall Gleeson (True Grit), Dredd will see Urban venturing into one of Mega City One’s giant tower blocks, only to find himself fighting for his life alongside his rookie partner (Thirlby), when the film is released on September 7th in the UK, and on September 21st in the US.
