Drive Red Band Trailer

Adapted from James Sallis’ novel of the same name, the upcoming action/thriller Drive follows an unnamed Hollywood stunt driver, who moonlights as a wheelman (getaway driver, transporter, etc), and even though it’s about a deal that goes wrong, and causes the main character to end up with a price on his head, The Transporter this is not.

It stars Fracture’s Ryan Gosling as the stunt driver/wheelman, has been directed by Valhalla Rising’s Nicolas Winding Refn, and has earned a huge amount of praise from the film festival circuit; where it was compared to many by-gone 70s movies, including Bullitt (which the director has cited as an influence), and saw Ryan Gosling compared to the late Steve McQueen.

Also starring Carey Mulligan (Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps), Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy), Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), and Christina Hendricks (Mad Men), Drive is due to be released on September the 16th in the US, and on September 23rd in the UK, but anyone looking to get an early peek at the film, can watch the Red Band trailer below.
