Dwayne Johnson Joining Empire State?

After thankfully bowing away from his run of child-friendly movies, and returning to more adult/action centered roles (to which he is far better suited), Dwayne Johnson (the Fast Five/Faster star who was previously known as The Rock) is now rumoured to be linked to the upcoming heist movie Empire State.

Written by Adam Mazar (Beach), Empire State is based on the robbery of a New York armoured car in 1982, which became the biggest cash heist in American history, already has Liam Hemsworth (soon to be seen in The Hunger Games and Expendables 2) locked in to star in one of the lead roles, will be directed by Dito Montiel (Fighting), and is due to begin filming in April, ahead of an as yet unannounced release date.
