Ed Harris and Matthew Fox Up For World War Z

It’s one of those projects that kept on failing to materialize, and going back to the drawing board, but the big screen adaptation of Max Brooks’ best-selling novel World War Z is finally going-ahead, and may now have two more actors joining the ever growing cast list; Ed Harris (The Way Back), and Matthew Fox (Lost).

As of yet there’s no official announcement of which characters the two will be playing, but when they appear they will join a cast that already includes Brad Pitt (Fight Club); as a UN worker investigating the worldwide zombie crisis that occurred a decade before the events of film; Mirelle Enos (The Killing), and James Badge Dale (The Departed).

Filming on the zombie epic is due to being later this month, under the direction of Marc Foster (Quantum of Solace); who is hoping to have the movie ready for Paramount Pictures next year (as they will likely be looking for a high profile release, should Star Trek 2 fail to be completed in time).
