The Danish Girl star Eddie Redmayne has just signed on to appear in Early Man; the upcoming stop-motion animated movie from Aardman, Studiocanal, and the British Film Institute (BFI) due to be directed by Wallace and Gromit creator Nick Park.

Early Man will be the first Nick Park directed feature film since Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, and will tell the story of how plucky caveman Dug (voiced by Redmayne) unites his tribe to battle against the Bronze Age.
