Truly bursting back into the world of acting, Arnold Schwarzenegger was recently seen in The Expendables 2, has The Last Stand coming out soon, will now reprise his role as Conan the Barbarian, and is soon to be seen in David Ayer’s Ten; as seen in the new picture on the right.
Tweeted by Arnold himself, the new picture shows Arnie (sporting a Tintin style hairdo) as the leader of an elite squad of Drug Enforcement Agents who raid a cartel’s safe house, using their law enforcement status as a means of covering up the fact they’re really there to steal millions of dollars worth of goods, only to get home and find themselves being closely scrutinized by their colleagues, before mysteriously getting killed one-by-one.
Ayer (the Training Day writer who’s directed the upcoming End of Watch) has directed the movie, which places Sam Worthington (Clash of the Titans), Joe Manganiello (True Blood), Josh Holloway (Lost), Harold Perrineau (Oz), and Terrence Howard (Iron Man) as the other members of Arnie’s team, co-stars Olivia Williams (The Sixth Sense), and Malin Åkerman (Rock of Ages), and is still lacking an official release date; though as filming is currently underway in Georgia, it’d be reasonable to assume we’ll get to see Ten sometime next year.
