Below you’ll find the first images from Tom Cruise’s next Jack Reacher movie; Never Go Back; the sequel to the 2012 film which placed Cruise is the titular role as Lee Child’s determined vigilante/wanderer.
Based on Child’s 18th Reacher novel, Never Go Back sees Cruise reprising the role, and taking Reacher back to his old military base in order to help an Army Major (played by Captain America: The Winter Soldier‘s Cobie Smulders) who’s been accused of spying. Yet clearing the major’s name isn’t Reacher’s only trial, as he finds he’s also been accused of committing a murder in the town 16 years ago.
Directed by Edward Zwick (The Last Samurai), Jack Reacher: Never Go Back will co-star Robert Knepper (Prison Break‘s T-Bag), Aldis Hodge (Straight Outta Compton), and Holt McCallany (The Perfect Guy), when it’s released on October 21st in both the US and UK.
