THE VATICAN TAPES - UK POSTER

Coming from Crank, Gamer, and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance director Mark Neveldine, The Vatican Tapes is an upcoming horror film focussing on exorcism and possession, and is set to have its UK Premiere at the Prince Charles Cinema, during FrightFest.

After a young woman (Olivia Taylor Dudley, Transcendence) starts to exhibit escalating erratic and increasingly strange behaviour, her father (Dougray Scott, Mission: Impossible II), boyfriend (John Patrick Amedori, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World), and priest Father Lozano (Michael Peña, Ant-Man), with the aid of two Vatican exorcists (played by Guardians of the Galaxy star Djimon Hounsou, and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo‘s Peter Andersson), begin to realise she’s been possessed by an ancient satanic force. Leaving Father Lozano to wage a war for both Angela’s soul, and the world as we know it.

Screening during FrightFest ahead of its general release, The Vatican Tapes will have a special introduction by Rev. Peter Laws; an ordained Church Minister, novelist, and non-fiction writer who presents horror movie podcast and YouTube show The Flicks That Church Forgot.

The Vatican Tapes UK Premiere will take place at 12:45pm, Saturday October 24th, at the Prince Charles Cinemas in London, as part of FrightFest.

You can buy tickets for The Vatican Tapes, and full event passes for FrightFest, here.

Alternatively, The Vatican Tapes will be released in UK cinemas on October 30th.
