Following the release of the first, Green Band, trailer last month, we now have an official Red Band trailer for Get Hard; the upcoming comedy starring Will Ferrell (Anchorman) and Kevin Hart (Ride Along); available to view below.
Ferrell stars as millionaire James King, a man sentenced to 10 years in maximum security prison for committing fraud. With 30 days to get his affairs in order before heading to prison, King turns to (probably) the only black person he knows (Hart) and asks him to prepare him for the harsh realities of life behind bars.
Given Darnell (Hart’s character) is a well-to-do small businessman, has never been to prison, and knows very little about surviving inside, there’s little usable advice he can offer, but as King has offered to pay him for his services, Darnell’s happy to take on the job.
Directed by Tropic Thunder/Men in Black 3 writer Etan Cohen (who’s also co-scripted the movie), and co-starring Alison Brie (The Lego Movie), Get Hard is due to be released on March 27th in both the US and UK.
