Ghostbusters Returning to Cinemas

The list of classic films getting a theatrical re-release just keeps on growing, and with both Titanic, The Lion King, and now Top Gun getting converted into 3D in order to milk a few extra pennies out of the already fruitful cash-cows, and both Back to the Future and Jurassic Park returning to the big screen in their classic 2D forms (with the former actually shooting into the Box Office Top Ten upon re-release), it should come as no surprise that one of the best loved comedies of all time is also returning to theaters; Ghostbusters.

Coming to cinemas via an “all new Digital Cinema Presentation” the 1980s hit; which featured a great cast (including Zombieland’s Bill Murray, The Blues Brothers’ Dan Aykroyd, Alien’s Sigourney Weaver, Groundhog Day’s Harold Ramis, and The Crow’s Ernie Hudson); “will be back in cinemas worldwide this October” (making its UK release on Friday October 28th), and playing all over the Halloween period.
