Goodfellas TV Show Moves Ahead

News of a possible Goodfellas TV show originally broke back in September 2010, and there hasn’t been much movement since, until now; as AMC (the network that produce The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, and Mad Men) has now officially put the show into development.

Nicholas Pileggi wrote the original book (Wiseguy) upon which the 1990 movie was based, actually wrote the film, and is now officially attached to the TV show, and will be writing the pilot episode alnog with Jorge Zamacona (Homicide: Life on the Street), though it’s not known yet exactly which part of Henry Hill’s tale the show will eventually focus on.
