Harrison Ford Dons Black Hats to Play Wyatt Earp

0

He’ll soon be seen in Jon Favreau’s upcoming sci-fi/western Cowboys & Aliens, but Indiana Jones star Harrison Ford has just signed on to another western project, and will soon be playing the legendary lawman Wyatt Earp in Black Hats; a movie which will merge both fact and fiction, by following an older Earp than we’re used to seeing onscreen, as he works as a private eye and film consultant in LA (both are true), and discovers that his friend Doc Holiday died in New York, after having a son who’s now in trouble with Al Capone (not true).

There’s no release date, or director attached as of yet, but with Harrison Ford attached, to a blend of Western and gangster movies that’s being scripted by 300’s Kurt Johnstad, it shouldn’t be too long before a number of directors start vying for the project, and pre-production gets into full swing.
