Once again proving that if a formula for a children’s movie works, it’s worth sticking to, Fox’s recently released trailer for Ice Age 4 (or Ice Age: Continental Drift to give the film its full title) shows the series’ signature heroes; Manny, Sid, and Diego; once again at the heart of an environmental disaster, as they bond, meet new friends with celebrity voices, and attempt to avoid their own destruction at the hands of not only mother nature, but some rather moody animals.
John Leguizamo, Ray Romano, and Denis Leary will all be returning to the fray, and are now joined by Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones), Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead), Wanda Sykes (Rio), Jennifer Lopez (Money Train), Seann William Scott (American Pie), and Queen Latifah (Chicago), in the film which will see our heroes trapped on a floating hunk of ice as the continents begin to shift and form, and is due to be released on July 6th in the UK, before making its US release date on July 13th.
