With the release date of Tony Stark’s latest adventure closing in (and this time directed by Lethal Weapon writer Shane Black – as opposed to Jon Favreau) it’s only fitting that we should now see the first official clip from the film; which features Stark, without his Iron Man garb, calling out his new nemesis The Mandarin, and can now be seen below.
With Robert Downey Jr. returning to play possibly the most charismatic superhero ever seen on screen, and being once again joined by Gwyneth Paltrow (as love interest Pepper Potts), Don Cheadle (best buddy and now fighting companion James Rhodes/War Machine), and Jon Favreau (bodyguard Happy Hogan), Iron Man 3 promises to give Stark his most challenging test to date; when Guy Pearce’s (Lawless) Aldrich Killian and Ben Kingsley’s (Shutter Island) Mandarin bring a world of pain right to Stark’s very door on April 26th in the UK, and on May 3rd in the US.
