Jericho TV Series Revived by Netflix?

Everyone was excited when the post-apocalyptic drama Jericho burst onto TV screens in 2006, and given the fervent way in which the fans responded to the show it was shocking to learn that CBS cancelled it after one extremely well received season. But now it appears as if Jericho could soon be making a comeback, courtesy of Netflix.

Fans of the show will already know that Jericho has already made one comeback (after it was originally cancelled, CBS bowed to fan pressure when fans delivered 20tons of nuts to CBS HQ; in reference to a line from the show; and revived the show for a short, and poorly received, second season, giving closure to many of the plot-lines), but given its poor reception, and rushed nature, it appeared as though we’d seen the last of the small town of nuclear holocaust survivors; though Netflix is apparently willing to bet it’s a show worth sticking with.

While talks are apparently in the very early stages at the moment, Netflix and original network CBS are still discussing the possibility of reviving the show, and should a deal be made Jericho could soon join Arrested Development as yet another fan-favourite being revived by the movie rental firm.
