Jersey Boys Film Finds a Director

It’s been a huge hit in theaters in a number of countries, being a Las Vegas, Broadway, and West End staple for a number of years, but now Jersey Boys: The Story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons is scheduled to be turned into a major motion picture, with none other than Iron Man director Jon Favreau looking to take the helm.

With the latest script draft coming from John Logan (Hugo), Jersey Boys would, like the stage show, explore the rise of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons from small-town Jersey Boys to international pop sensations, but there’s no telling exactly when production on the film could begin; as even if Favreau takes the job, he’s a busy man, and will be seen acting on screen in no less than three films due out by the close of next year, and is also set to direct the long awaited Magic Kingdom.
