Jurassic Park 4 Hires New Writers

With original director Steven Spielberg looking to develop new ideas (which are thankfully pretty different to the rumours of soldier dinosaurs, and a Godzilla-like rampages through overrun cities), Jurassic Park 4 is definitely moving ahead, and has just hired two new writers to take a crack at the script.

Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes’ Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver have landed the job which is still being kept fairly secretive at this point, and although there’s extremely little known about the plot (other than the fact it’ll involve running away from some rather hungry dinosaurs), it is known that Spielberg will be giving the directing job to someone else this time around (as he did with Jurassic Park 3), and as it’s still in the embryonic stages of development, it’ll be a fair while before Jurassic Park 4 hits the big screen; meaning anyone looking for a dinosaur-fix before then will have to catch the 3D re-release of the original Jurassic Park, on July 19th 2013.
