Well known for playing numerous heroes over the years; in movies such as Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Dances With Wolves, Wyatt Earp, and more; actor Kevin Costner has now joined negotiations to star in the upcoming Spaghetti Western themed movie from Pulp Fiction writer/director Quentin Tarantino; Django Unchained; and will play a character that’s completely against type.

Costner will be joining the film as a man named Ace Woody; who’s a sadistic man that trains male slaves to fight one another, and oversees the female slaves that are forced into prostitution (and reportedly will have no issues with “mistreating and even killing the slaves who don’t measure up”; and will co-star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio (Inception); who will play the ranch owner, and main villain; and Pulp Fiction’s Samuel L. Jackson; who will star as DiCaprio’s right-hand-slave.

Jamie Foxx (Due Date) will lead the cast as the titular slave Django; who takes on the trio of villains in order to free his wife from their ranch; and will team up with a German bounty hunter played by Inglorious Basterds’ Christoph Waltz, when the film begins shooting this coming fall, ahead of an as yet unannounced release date.
