Based on Matt Bondurant’s novel, Lawless will tell the tale of three bootlegging brothers who got in too deep with a ruthless gangster during prohibition in the US, and found themselves struggling to not only keep their business afloat, but also keep their lives, and has just had its second trailer released online.
Coming from director John Hillcoat (The Road), Lawless stars Shia LaBeouf (Transformers), Tom Hardy (Warrior), and Jason Clarke (Brotherhood) as the three Bondurant brothers, while Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight) stars as the gangster, and Guy Pearce (Prometheus) appears as a special agent hot on their tail, in the movie which co-stars Jessica Chastain (The Help), Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland), and Dane DeHaan (Chronicle), and is due to be released on August 31st in both the US and UK.
