While this year’s Taken 2 may not have lived up to the gritty heights of the endearing original, it looks as though Liam Neeson will be continuing to take on more action roles, and has recently entered negotiations to star as a hitman in the upcoming movie The All Nighter (also known as Run All Night).
Scripted by Brad Ingelsby (Out Of The Furnace), The All Nighter has been in development for over a year now, and will see the leading hitman facing off against the mob bosses who formerly employed him in one violent night of rage and redemption, as he attempts to protect his estranged family from the perils of his lifestyle, and avoid the authorities at all costs, though as there’s still no director currently attached, even if Neeson signs on, it could be a while before The All Nighter really gets moving.
