For a show about the in’s and out’s of Hollywood actors & agents and making movies, it surprises me that it’s taken this long to get HBO’s film actor comedy drama show Entourage onto the big screen. But it’s coming finally and Warner Brothers have released their most recent trailer, as well as a lovely new poster.
A-list movie star Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) and his East Coast boys, right hand man E (Kevin Connolly), supply guy Turtle (Jerry Ferrera) and B-list brother Johnny Drama (Kevin Dillon), are back in business with super agent-turned-studio head Ari Gold (Mr Selfridge’s Jeremy Piven). This time around, Vince wants to direct as well as star in Ari’s first big budget movie production and their usually tight relationship is pushed to the limit as problems arise.
It’s been awhile to get this off the ground but show creator Doug Ellin is behind the camera as director and is balancing the film’s plot with the insane amount of cameos from all walks of fame quite well. We’re quite looking forward to see Turtle last a minute with Ronda Rousey in the MMA ring! Tonnes of favourite cast members and characters are returning also, making this a real treat for fans of the show.
Expect Johnny Drama bromance, over the top situation laughs and living the dream in making movies. We can’t wait!
Entourage will be walking the red carpet to the big screen on 19 June 2015 in the UK & 5 June in USA.
