After winning the Jury Prize at Cannes, and a great deal of critical acclaim, the truly unconventional love story The Lobster will soon be landing on cinema screens in the UK. As a result, we now have a brand new poster (available on the right – click to view full size), selection of images (below), and official trailer (below the images).

Colin Farrell (True Detective) headlines The Lobster as a man who’s arrested for being single, and transferred to The Hotel; an institute where people are forced to find a new mate within 45 days, or be transformed into the animal of his choice.

Co-starring Rachel Weisz (The Mummy), Léa Seydoux (The Grand Budapest Hotel), John C. Reilly (Guardians of the Galaxy), Ben Whishaw (Skyfall), Olivia Colman (The Peep Show), Michael Smiley (Spaced), and Ashley Jensen (Extras), The Lobster marks the English language debut of acclaimed Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos (Dogtooth), and is due to be released on October 16th in the UK.
