Coming from writer/director Rian Johnson (The Brothers Bloom), the upcoming sci-fi movie Looper begs the ever-present question; what would you do if you had to hunt down and kill your future self? And recently had a new poster released online (now available to view below).
Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception) stars as a hitman working in the year 2042, who has his targets sent back in time (from 2072) for execution at a time where they’ll be untraceable, and has everything going for him until one day a new victim turns out, and it turns out to be his future self (portrayed by Die Hard’s Bruce Willis).
You can find the official trailer, and previous poster, here, though aside from the basic plotline there’s still relatively little known about the film, other than the fact it’s due to be released on September 28th in both the US and UK.
