Luke Evans Gets A Message From The King

Luke EvansHaving recently left Relativity’s planned reboot of The Crow, Luke Evans had a bit of a gap to fill in his schedule, so has just signed on to appear in the upcoming action movie A Message From The King.

Due to be directed by Fabrice Du Weiz (The Ordeal), A Message From The King follows a man named Jacob King who journeys to LA in search of his younger, only to find she recently died. Undeterred by the fact he’s got no money, and has to return home to South Africa within a week, King stes out on a rampage through the underworld of Los Angeles in an attempt to seek vengeance for his sister, and rescue her stepson.

Chadwick Boseman (Draft Day) will be stepping into the lead as Jacob King, with Evans starring as a crooked dentist who aids him in his quest. Co-starring Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies) and Alfred Molina (Love Is Strange), there’s no confirmed release date for the film, though as it’ll need to finish filming before production begins on Captain America: Civil War (where Boseman will first appear as Black Panther), A Message From The King should be released sometime next year.
