With Eddie Redmayne (Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them) already confirmed as voicing the titular character in Aardman Animations’ upcoming claymation the Early Man, Game Of Thrones star Maisie Williams (better known as Arya Stark, or Nobody, to Thrones fans) has also signed up for a role.

Directed by Wallace And Gromit creator Nick Park, Early Man is set at the dawn of time, and will see the titular character Dug (Redmayne) take on wooly mammoths and dinosaurs with the help of Goona (Williams); a “gallant and inomitable rebel who… helps steer him through the clash of the Stone Age and Bronze Age civilisations.”

Tom Hiddleston (The Night Manager) will also be heard, voicing another character, when Early Man makes its way into UK cinemas on 26 January 2018. An official US release date is yet to be announced.
