Starring Shaun Of The Dead’s Simon Pegg (recently seen doing the rounds in the official trailer for Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, aka Mission Impossible 5), and No Strings Attached’s Lake Bell, the upcoming romantic comedy Man Up now has an official trailer, available to view below.
With a fairly simple premise, Man Up sees Pegg mistake Bell for his blind date, and with Bell (obviously fancying the likeable Pegg) failing to correct him, the pair have an enjoyable date before the truth comes out, they both use each other to various ends, and a fair dose of hilarity, emotion, romance, and comedy come flooding out.
Though while it may sound simple, and rather generic, it’s got two likeable stars headlining the film, co-stars the likes of Olivia Williams (The Sixth Sense), Ken Stott (The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies), and Rory Kinnear (The Imitation Game), and looks to bring a decent amount of charm when it’s released on May 29th in the UK. No US release date has been announced thus far, though Man Up will be appearing at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 19th.
