Marc Webb Returning For Amazing Spider-Man 2

0

After successfully rebooting the Spider-Man franchise for Sony (to the tune of over $750m worldwide), Marc Webb has now agreed to once again step behind the camera and direct the contractually obliged Andrew Garfield (who starred as Peter Parker/Spider-Man), in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Rumours that Webb may not return have then proven to be unfounded, though the delay over his official signing may have been caused by a reported 500 hours of negotiations (due to Webb angling for a pay rise this time out), though hopefully ongoing negotiations with Emma Stone (who starred as Spidey’s love interest Gwen Stacy) should be quicker, and things can move faster towards the May 2nd 2014 release date scheduled for both the US and UK.
