Coming from Life of Pi, and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, director Ang Lee, the upcoming sci-fi/thriller/action movie Gemini Man has just found its latest star; Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
Recently seen in Fargo, and 10 Cloverfield Lane, Winstead joins the Looper-like film as an operative initially tasked with spying on an ageing assassin, before eventually teaming up with him as he attempts to escape the clutches of a clone of his younger self.
Will Smith (Bright) is set to headline as both the ageing and spritely versions of said assassin, with Clive Owen (Children of Men) picking up the part of the villainous cloning facility manager, when the Jerry Bruckheimer (Bad Boys) produced Gemini Man begins filming next months, ahead of a 4 October 2019 release date in the U.S.
