Michael Cera Starring in Inidie Drama Magic, Magic

Being a lad who’s always found playing essentially the same character in a number of comedy films; including Superbad, Juno, Year One, Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, and most recently Scott Pilgrim Vs the Wolrd; Michael Cera looks to be heading for a career change; signing on to appear in the indie drama Magic, Magic.

Magic, Magic is being written and directed by Chilean writer/director Sebastian Silver, and will focus on a young woman who goes on holiday to a remote part of Chile with a group of friends, and begins to slowly lose her mind; a fact that is totally ignored by her closest friends (despite her asking for help) until it is far too late.

As of yet there’s still no start date, or release date, scheduled for Magic, Magic; largely due to the fact that a key role (that of the leading lady; the one who loses her marbles) is still yet to have been cast.
