While Monsters Inc. showed how scary bedtime monsters; the same monsters that hide in children’s closets, under their beds, and spend their nights giving kids a fright; harvested the power of infants’ screams to power their world, Pixar’s upcoming prequel, Monsters University, will show how they learned to be so scary in the first place, and recently had its first teaser trailer released online (now available to view below).
Once again featuring the voice talents of Billy Crystal, John Goodman, and Steve Buscemi, Monsters University is being directed by Dan Scanlon (who worked in the art department on Cars), and is due to be released in the US on June 21st 2013, before making its UK release date on July 12th 2013.
