Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol will be the fourth installment in the Mission: Impossible franchise, and will once again see Tom Cruise reprising the role of super-spy Ethan Hunt; as he goes on the run after he, and members of his IMF team, are framed for implementing a terrorist attack on Russian soil; and Paramount have just released a new image of Cruise, as Ethan Hunt, which is available to view below.
Brad Bird (Ratatouille) has directed the upcoming action movie, which will see both Ving Rhames (Dawn of the Dead) and Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead) return to the franchise, alongside Paula Patton (Deja Vu), Jeremy Renner (The Town), Josh Holloway (Lost), and Tom Wilkinson (Batman Begins), and is due to be released on December 21st in the US, and on December 26th (Boxing Day) in the UK.
