We’ve already had a trailer parodying The Hangover 2, but now The Muppets have gone a step further, and parodied one of the summer’s supposed hits; The Green Lantern; in the trailer for their latest movie (which can now be seen below, while the newly released poster is available to view on the right, and can be clicked to view full size).
Directed by James Bobin (The Flight of the Conchords), The Muppets stars not only Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie Bear, Animal, and the rest of the Muppet crew, but Jason Segel (Bad Teacher), Amy Adams (The Fighter), Chris Cooper (The Patriot), and a host of guest stars; including Jack Black, George Clooney, Whoopi Goldberg, Ricky Gervais, Ben Stiller, and Zach Galifianakis; and is due to be released in the US on November 23rd, before making its way into UK cinemas on February 17th.
